Toward User Sovereignty

An interesting blog post talks about how system are getting too big and that it could be countered by,

• local-level decisions, that is, moving decisions locally instead of centrally,
• allow us to have exit rights, that is, to opt-out of a system,
• have contestable architecture, that is, to have auditable governance,
• simplicity and intuitive, that is, to keep the system as simple as possible.
