The Norway Spiral

On December 9, 2009, a spiral appeared into the sky in Norway,

The official explanation is that a Baluva missle test had failed. They say that the missile went into a spin. This theory makes no sense. How would a rocket spin around to create this and especially that blue trail going towards the circles?

More likely is that it was created by EISCAT, a powerful High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) facility located where the blue beam emanates from.
